Cosmopolita
GaS Studio was commissioned in 2021 for an upgrade of the Cosmopolita hotel in Rome.
The hotel benefits from an enviable position in the capital being located near Piazza Venezia and serves as a very convenient base for exploring some of the principal attractions of the eternal city.
From it’s terrace are visible the Fori Romani and it’s central position allows easy access to historical landmarks such as l’altare della patria, campidoglio, colonna traiana as well as a short walk to the Colosseo.
The Cosmopolita is perhaps one of the oldest (if not the oldest) hotels of Rome with it’s construction dating back to the 1800’s. Documents demonstrate that by 1910 the building was used as a hotel then called Pensione Nazionale.
The historic nature of this structure accounts for much of it’s charm, with 76 rooms, a small business center and gym, a roof top breakfast terrace it is a delightful haven of calm in this bustling city from which to explore Rome.
