Tim Concept Store

In collaboration with OIL Design Lab, we designed three different concept stores for TIM in Italy.

Each store showcases a unique blend of innovation and style, tailored to enhance customer experience while reflecting TIM's brand identity.

The projects starts with an idea of creating a minimal architectural casing that works as “neutral container “ for exposed products and services, giving enough space for multimedia content with a futuristic appeal.

First Concept

The design approach adopted for the proposed concept starts from the will to create a comfortable, interactive, informal and dynamic shop. Today, the extreme heterogeneity of the exhibition and information system of TIM, does not help in a clear and effective reading of the space and products, or helps to create an inviting environment for the customer. First, the intervention aims to create a linear space in the shapes and a rigorous exposition of the products, but also equipped spaces that foster a relaxed stay in the store through domestic corner where to experience the TIM offer.

Second Concept

The new concept store disrupts the more classical appearance of the former, transporting it into a decidedly more technological and avant-garde universe. The particularity of this concept lies in the materials used: all the walls are covered with folded or cut aluminium panels, a technology never before used for a store. The material palette is accomplished in grey tones.

Silver version

Alongside the 'gold' version, a more minimal and understated 'silver' version of the store was presented. The use of satin metal has been adopted by the TIM brand for all its future marketing campaigns.

The anodized aluminium panels

The display wall is designed as a large, continuous strip of anodized aluminum, offering exceptional flexibility and modularity to adapt to rapidly changing commercial needs. It comprises 32x84 cm modular panels, each with a thickness of 3 mm. These panels can be equipped with various storage options, shelves of different sizes, blister rods, monitors, backlit graphics, and illuminated signage.

More about this project

"The new concept for Tim's shops marks a clear turning point in the image of the brand, which opens up to the market with a totally new offer and look.
The project stems from the idea of creating a minimal architectural envelope that acts as a "neutral container" for the products and services on display, giving ample space to multimedia content with a futuristic appeal.
The material palette veers towards tones of grey, which is declined in the giant-size resin-effect floors, in the light grey walls, and in the extensive use of natural-effect anodised aluminium that characterises the furnishing elements together with the retro-reflected and satin-finished glass.
